In this dynamic role, you will bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to an elementary setting, making a meaningful impact on students who need individualized support. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week. The assignment focuses on serving an ABS caseload at the elementary level, fostering academic growth and promoting positive behaviors in a supportive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota (MN) Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only required)
• Demonstrated experience or strong knowledge in working with ABS (Academic Behavior Support) caseloads at the elementary level
• Solid communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction, interventions, and modifications aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Manage a caseload of elementary students receiving special education services
• Collaborate with general education staff, administration, and parents to ensure student success
• Collect progress data and adjust teaching strategies to meet learner needs
• Maintain thorough records, documentation, and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
