Work Environment

This position is onsite and focuses on home care, allowing you to bring therapeutic services directly to patients in the comfort of their own homes. By operating in a home environment, our therapists can observe real-life activities and make necessary adjustments to treatment that reflect daily challenges. You'll work Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour workweek dedicated to providing comprehensive physical therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and design personalized treatment programs in collaboration with referring physicians.
• Implement evidence-based treatment utilizing various techniques to address conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care to clients, focusing on improving their functional abilities and overall quality of life, in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the treatment process.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to communicate patient progress, share insights, and collectively maximize outcomes for each individual.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and rehabilitation exercises, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Meet and strive to exceed minimum utilization goals while supporting organizational performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists treat a diverse range of patient demographics, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By customizing plans to meet individual patient needs, our focus on comprehensive care helps empower clients—people of all ages who face various challenges to regain strength and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist, compliant with all legal requirements in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively connect with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and common computer software applications to document patient care effectively.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with patients to support their recovery and functional goals.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for patient connection and community relationship-building.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically within home care or outpatient settings.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in a variety of treatment approaches and patient populations.
• Current certification in CPR is required.

Compensation and Benefits
