Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in the following core activities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify client needs, backgrounds, and specific challenges they may be experiencing.
• Develop tailored treatment strategies together with clients to address their mental health goals and facilitate positive outcomes.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and tools for effective mental health management.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse client population, varying in age, cultural backgrounds, and psychological needs. Qualifications

To ensure high-quality care, we require the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, reflecting a robust educational foundation in mental health practices.
• A current New York State licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) demonstrating your capability to practice independently and ethically.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills complemented by proficiency in telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline client management.

Preferred Experience
