Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, needs, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit client-specific situations.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies that promote mental health and resilience.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs.
\n
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated client care.
\n
• Stay current on research advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records according to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional training opportunities.

• Advocate for clients in matters of mental health stigma and ensure their needs are adequately met within the clinical and community settings.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
