Sous Chef de Tournant

Responsibilities Menu planning and designing the plating presentation for each dish Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time Hiring and training of kitchen staff to prepare and cook all menu items Collaborating with event operations management Optimizing staff productivity Manage kitchen workflow during peak times or when a station needs additional support Managing product inventory and placing orders as needed Ensuring best practices are followed for safety and sanitation in the kitchen Monitoring new industry trends Incorporating feedback from staff and guests to make improvements Manage scheduling, payroll, coaching, training, and development of team members Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt standards The salary range for this position is $66,100 to $73,500. Qualifications Must possess strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship skills Passion for creating incredible food that delights and attracts customers Creative and innovative thinking Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service Proficient in general computer knowledge A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner Culinary education and/or on-the-job training with in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations and cooking techniques Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Hyatt Corporation
