Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Tampa to identify an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in insurance defense litigation . Experience supporting medical malpractice defense matters is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal correspondence, pleadings, and litigation documents File pleadings and legal documents through state and federal e-filing systems Manage a high-volume attorney calendar, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings Coordinate scheduling with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts Maintain and organize client files and case information within the firm's practice management system Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support while ensuring deadlines are met Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigation matters Qualifications: Experience with state and federal court e-filing procedures Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Positive attitude and strong attention to detail Why Consider This Opportunity?
