Litigation Legal Assistant

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year Why join us? 18 days PTO Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K with match Discretionary bonus Paid Parking LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT A well-established Tampa Bay law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support attorneys across litigation and land use matters, including a busy eminent domain practice. This role is a strong fit for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling deadlines across multiple active files - open to candidates with experience in any area of litigation. WILL TRAIN ON EMINENT DOMAIN! Responsibilities Track and manage attorney deadlines, hearings, depositions, and travel logistics Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, vendors, and internal staff Organize case files and correspondence within the firm's document management system Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery materials, and legal correspondence Handle new-matter intake, including conflict checks and engagement letters Manage expense reports, check requests, and attorney time entry Prepare exhibits and coordinate logistics for depositions and trial Support land-use matters with visual or mapping materials as needed (GIS experience a plus, not required) Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant - open to candidates with experience in any area of litigation High school diploma required Comfortable working independently and managing shifting priorities Familiarity with e-filing procedures, both electronic and in-person Strong attention to detail and consistently accurate work product Clear communicator, able to handle confidential information with discretion Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; document management system experience (iManage or similar) a plus Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
