We also provide general medical surgical pediatric care, trauma, orthopedic, ENT, neurosurgical, & other care patients. Our team works together with the entire interdisciplinary team (MDs, NPs, NSTs, OT/PT, Speech, SW, etc) to deliver high quality care.Fairview offers a nurse residency program for eligible new graduate RNs taking this role with the organization!Provides complex care to pediatric patient/families preparing for and undergoing blood and marrow transplantation, pediatric hematology-oncology, urology, blood and marrow, metabolic, and gastrointestinal disordersPerforms advanced monitoring using current technology.Manages sophisticated medication and infusion therapiesCares for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.Bed capacity: 24Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:4Required QualificationsMN Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)1+ years of RN ExperienceWill Consider New Grad with Internship/Capstone in PediatricsPreferred QualificationsAcute Care Inpatient RN pediatric med/surgPeritoneal Dialysis (PD) Trained, RequiredRecent experience in care of transplant patientsBSN or greater nursing degreeBenefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
