Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through virtual meetings to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique challenges and goals, utilizing best practices and evidence-based approaches.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic support through regular sessions, helping clients build coping strategies and resilience.
• Facilitate client referrals to other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies.
• Engage in regular consultations and case discussions with colleagues to enhance therapeutic strategies and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of clients presenting various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. Understanding the cultural context of each client is crucial, and you will employ culturally responsive techniques to foster an inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC, LCMFT, LMFT, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating expertise across a spectrum of disorders.
• Strong understanding of various evidence-based treatment modalities and the ability to apply them effectively within therapy.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices in reducing mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits
