Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans in alignment with departmental goals and patient needs.
• Continuously monitor and interpret objectives and procedures relevant to the physical therapy department.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient rights, safety standards, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Uphold confidentiality by safeguarding sensitive patient and company information.
• Adhere to company policies, including harassment prevention policies and compliance practices, while engaging in mandatory training programs.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
• Utilize software tools effectively, including Microsoft Word and Excel, for patient documentation and communication.
• Provide support and liaison services for patients and families to facilitate smooth case management.
• Exhibit strong body mechanics during treatment and functions, encouraging safe and efficient practices.
• Make independence in decision-making to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Stay informed of the legal and regulatory framework governing physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient facility serves a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Easy Start Therapy, you will focus on providing tailored rehabilitation programs that address each patient's unique needs, with a particular emphasis on achieving optimal movement and function.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) is required, with a preference for candidates who obtained their degree in 2003 or later.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a commitment to maintaining good standing throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification is required upon hire, with a commitment to keeping this certification valid at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with spine surgery rehabilitation techniques is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and ability to adapt to new software tools.
