Key Responsibilities\n

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions that reflect each client’s unique circumstances and challenges.

• Assist clients in crisis situations by employing de-escalation techniques and facilitating immediate therapeutic support.

• Collect and meticulously record patient data to track progress, inform treatment decisions, and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.

• Develop and maintain a safe, confidential, and therapeutic virtual environment while upholding professionalism in all communications.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and as a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with individuals of all ages, including children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. A focus on trauma-informed care ensures that the unique developmental considerations of each age group are respected and incorporated into treatment strategies. You will be instrumental in providing a patient-centered atmosphere, acknowledging and honoring the identities of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required, along with current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate (LMHC-A) in Washington State.

• At least one year of relevant experience in behavioral or mental health settings.

• Proficiency in trauma-informed practices and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and systems of care.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport effectively with patients and the broader community.

• Excellent communication capabilities, both verbal and written, complemented by documentation proficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in pediatric mental health care, with an understanding of developmental milestones and considerations throughout the life span.

• Awareness of the latest research and innovative therapies, including professional psychedelic integration counseling, is a plus.

• Lived experience or background within the mental health, educational, or healthcare systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
