Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients’ emotional histories, trauma experiences, and mental health needs.

• Collaboratively create and implement individualized treatment plans that promote healing and recovery from trauma-related disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate client growth.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate interventions, offering support and guidance to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their family members about trauma responses, facilitating understanding and resilience through workshops and informational sessions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing professional development activities, ensuring your skills and knowledge are current.

• Remain informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who have experienced significant trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health conditions. Our client population may include survivors of domestic violence, military veterans, and individuals dealing with chronic stress or crises. Your empathetic support will be invaluable in empowering these clients on their path to healing, helping them build resilience and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience with a focus on trauma-informed treatment is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on compassion and non-judgment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
