Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and specific needs, establishing a baseline for tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, aligning with clients’ objectives and measurable progress indicators.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions applying evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, ensuring clients receive effective and appropriate interventions.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, with the ability to adjust treatment plans responsively to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to promote integrated care strategies and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Advocate for client rights and promote access to necessary mental health services, navigating available community resources to enhance client care.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical practice standards as outlined by relevant state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly involve working with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, with a special focus on mood disorders. The client population will include those experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mood-related issues. You will be expected to cultivate trust and rapport while providing empathetic and effective support that respects each individual’s unique journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• Strong knowledge of and commitment to using evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proficient in therapeutic practices for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT, equipped to support diverse client needs.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster therapeutic alliances with clients.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and experience in the field, along with additional performance-based bonuses.
