Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements. You will be part of a virtual team that meets regularly to discuss patient care, treatment strategies, and best practices. While the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs. The telehealth platform we employ ensures that you can effectively deliver care while maintaining a collaborative approach with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering how medical conditions affect mental well-being.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that effectively address both psychiatric and medical needs of patients, ensuring that therapy is tailored to each individual's circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, or similar methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with medical providers to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes, participating in case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients during mental health emergencies, employing immediate therapeutic techniques as necessary.

• Educate patients regarding the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, fostering their ability to manage their own health conditions effectively.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults who contend with a range of conditions including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, mental health disorders, and substance use challenges. Our patients benefit from a comprehensive approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of their health, so familiarity with and compassion for these complex issues is essential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with co-occurring medical conditions and mental health needs.

• Proven ability to provide integrated care, working in collaboration with medical professionals.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that promote patient engagement and trust.

• Commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications to streamline workflow and documentation.

• Capacity for teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting while supporting a collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, specifically with patients experiencing chronic health issues. Experience with telehealth practices is advantageous, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches will enhance your effectiveness within our team.

Your compensation will be structured competitively, with an annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000.
