Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of any co-occurring disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing both mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring clients receive holistic support and treatment.

• Monitor substance use through regular assessments and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery process.

You will primarily work with individuals facing the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrable proficiency in evidence-based approaches for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within an integrated care team.
