About the Role
The Company is seeking an Operating Partner to join its portfolio. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner, collaborating with and enabling the management teams of the portfolio companies. This hands-on role involves providing oversight, support, and guidance to drive results and establish a high-performance culture of accountability. The Operating Partner will also be instrumental in leading the portfolio companies to successful and profitable exits, in line with the company's investment thesis of transforming businesses through operational improvements and acquisitions. Candidates for the Operating Partner position should be passionate, committed leaders with a strong background in commercial construction services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a CEO of a PE-backed lower middle market business or as a key #2 (President or COO) of a larger PE-backed business. A commercial orientation is highly preferred, and experience in private equity is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in M&A. The role demands a leader with a contagious will to win, who can honor the company's past while driving it into the future, and who is dedicated to the transformation and professionalization of the business.
