Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance effectiveness.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually improve therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Actively participate in case consultations, professional development sessions, and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients to address mental health stigmas and fulfill their unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on supporting individuals affected by mood disorders. Your clients may range from those managing chronic conditions to individuals experiencing acute crises. You will be instrumental in helping vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, or victims of domestic abuse, providing them with compassionate care and practical resources to navigate their challenges.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
