Apply today and find out what it means to have the support and resources of a Fortune 6 company.As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, communicating with stakeholders, and will execute many project tasks including group set up from requirements documents, configuration of group into the COBRA platform and data entry of member records. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the CustomerRaise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholdersRepresent implementation team throughout sales process and prospect presentationsEnsure client’s smooth transition to Optum through minimizing operational impact and managing risk via continuous communication and quick resolution of problemsCreate project plan and ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframe/deadlinesManage weekly calls with client, broker, and partner during the implementationManage the setup and comprehensive testing of new file interfaces working with EDI through initial productionProvide summary status reporting Conduct audits on files and set up as neededFacilitate client education process; lead or coordinate training with other departments regarding Optum’s practices and policiesManage renewal of existing clients who either increase complexity of existing accounts or add additional accountsProactively identify potential risks and provide solutions to prevent post-go-live issuesProvide recommendations to ensure positive member experienceServe as primary client contact for implementation and sixty-ninety days following effective dateIdentify and initiate internal process improvementsDocument internal and client-specific policies and proceduresExecute group set up from requirements documents and enter group into COBRA platformComplete requested system changesCoordinates and enters applicable records from previous vendors/clients and inputs data as accordinglyConducts client training for online portalRelied upon to provide opinions, research issues, and find solutions, make routine decisionsParticipates in cross-functional task forces and special projects Other duties as assignedYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience2+ years of project management and implementation experience using data and information to make business decisions2+ years of experience working in a health benefits environment2+ years of COBRA administration experience, including knowledge of COBRA compliance and other continuation regulationsExperience and ability to focus on client satisfaction, and meet tight deadlinesProven experience managing multiple project timelines and make decisions with minimal supervisionProficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePointPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of project management and implementation experience using data and information to make business decisions3+ years of experience working in a health benefits environmentSolid communication skills (written and verbal/presentation) with an emphasis on being able to logically structure thoughts and create organized visuals for clients and stakeholderTo protect the health and safety of our workforce, patients and communities we serve, UnitedHealth Group and its affiliate companies require all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
