Work Environment\n

As a primarily remote position, you will practice in a supportive online environment that prioritizes communication and collaboration. Our team utilizes teletherapy software that is HIPAA-compliant, ensuring that client interactions remain confidential and secure. The work schedule is designed to accommodate various patient needs, with core hours set for Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, along with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges and goals, ensuring their active participation in the therapeutic process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the unique needs of each client.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment approaches, and effective self-care strategies to support their journey towards recovery.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical observations.

• Work within an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research in mood disorders and treatment methodologies.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative atmosphere and share best practices.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs within the community, helping to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in various evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a deep understanding of their applications in therapeutic settings.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of culturally relevant therapeutic practices is highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms is also beneficial as we continue to innovate in our service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
