Conscious Core Counseling Center is looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our remote mental health practice. This is a full-time position that is primarily conducted through telehealth, allowing our therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering exceptional care to our clients. You will have the autonomy to create your schedule and determine your caseload, ranging from 10 to 30 billable hours per week.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostic evaluations for clients utilizing the latest DSM under the supervision of licensed psychiatrists and psychologists.
\n
• Providing short-term psychotherapy tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and groups, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, and couples counseling.
\n
• Implementing treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and leveraging a variety of evidence-based modalities to achieve optimal outcomes.
\n
• Determining the urgency of client needs and coordinating care efforts, including making referrals for psychiatric services when necessary.
\n
• Documenting sessions meticulously, including maintaining therapy records, and preparing reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care approaches, incorporating insights into family dynamics and community resources.
\n
• Participating in clinical meetings to discuss complex cases and enhance case management strategies.
\n
• Engaging in quality assurance activities to uphold clinical excellence within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals with mental health disorders, dual diagnoses, and a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Psy.D in the state of Virginia.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
\n
• At least two years of experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be advantageous. Familiarity with family systems theory, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention techniques will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
