We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our thriving practice in Pomona, California. Work Environment

This is an onsite role based in our Pomona office, working alongside a committed team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our collaborative environment encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth while focusing primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that they receive high-quality, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physical capabilities and limitations of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a streamlined patient load, efficiently handling an average of two patients per hour while maintaining attention to individualized care.
• Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to develop thorough care plans that prioritize patient goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mobility, decreasing pain, and enhancing overall functionality.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, minimizing reliance on medication and invasive procedures through effective alternatives.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive attitude toward recovery and well-being.
• Facilitate open communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment provided using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring compliance and delivering quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with primarily include individuals seeking postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our approach focuses on providing tailored solutions to empower each patient to reclaim their functional abilities and overall quality of life. You will guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, developing personalized programs that consider their unique challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proven proficiency in orthopedic evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Strong familiarity with EMR platforms, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a successful track record in this specialty.
• Expert knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their application in patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing targeted exercise programs tailored to meet the specific needs and limitations of diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year.
