Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy in therapy sessions.

• Provide group therapy sessions focusing on various mental health and emotional wellness topics.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and billing information in compliance with organizational policies.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient base consists of individuals and families with limited access to mental health services. You will work with clients dealing with diverse challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role requires sensitivity to the unique backgrounds of clients, including various socio-economic situations, cultural contexts, and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment, providing direct client care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
