Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity and duration of their symptoms through interviews and standardized instruments.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring their active involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly, utilizing metrics and feedback to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights that benefit client treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals coping with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse client population includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds, allowing you to employ culturally responsive practices in your work.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• Ability to navigate and collaborate effectively with psychiatrists regarding psychopharmacological interventions.
