Thriving Journey Therapy, PLLC is actively seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Directing and implementing tailored physical therapy treatments aimed at optimizing patient functionality, alleviating pain, and enhancing motor skills in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess clients' levels of physical function through diagnostic tests focusing on muscles, joints, and functional abilities.
• Administering manual and therapeutic exercises, instructing and motivating clients to engage in both manual and non-manual exercises, as well as facilitating functional activities focusing on daily living skills.
• Utilizing various treatment modalities, such as traction and massage, to manage pain and improve mobility, alongside applying physical agents for rehabilitative purposes.
• Evaluating, fitting, and making recommendations regarding the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, in collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related conditions. You will work closely with clients of varying demographics, providing personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs. Emphasis will be placed on promoting mobility, independence, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, specifically in orthopedic physical therapy, geriatrics, acute care, or outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in orthopedic evaluation techniques, treatment strategies, and patient care planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and educate patients effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with advanced techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation, knowledge of current trends in physical therapy, and participation in continuing education or specialized certifications are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and contributions, we offer an attractive compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year , accompanied by performance incentives. Additional benefits include:
