Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide telehealth counseling sessions to individuals seeking to improve their mental health, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Receive payment for late cancellations and no-shows to promote financial integrity and transparency in your practice.

• Continuously develop your professional skills by obtaining annual Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with all costs covered by the organization.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to possibly create “Expert Insights”, enhancing community outreach and engagement.

• Facilitate optional support groups, contributing to communal recovery efforts and additional support systems.
\n
• Manage client referrals efficiently, using our robust network to ensure a steady flow of clients awaiting your expertise.

• Engage with the Clinical Operations Teams for direct support, ensuring that you always have access to resources and assistance.

• Participate in Monthly Peer Groups, fostering collaboration and minimizing isolation in a remote work environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client base includes individuals seeking to navigate their journey toward healthier relationships with alcohol, encompassing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Our counselors should be adept at providing tailored guidance that respects individual differences, focusing on both moderation and abstinence based on personal goals. This position requires a keen understanding of community recovery support options such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management, ensuring clients are informed about all available resources.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• Proven training and experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• A strong grasp of the harm-reduction model, as clients may express varying requests for moderation versus total abstinence.

• Exceptional clinical engagement skills paired with the ability to convey empathy and understanding to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, complemented by potential bonuses.
