Work Environment\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position is a full-time role, operating from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a fully remote work setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to patients, including effective crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to communicate patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring a coordinated treatment approach.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes, in accordance with departmental policies and best practice standards.

• Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including discharge strategies based on detailed psychosocial assessments.

• Engage in community outreach to develop and maintain relationships with local resource organizations, representing Shirley Mental Health Services and advocating for patients' social needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• Applicants must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
