Description What You'll Do

• Carry out a variety of routine and advanced laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate lab results for precision, explore solutions for discrepancies, and handle the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Provide support in specimen collection, preparing samples as necessary for testing.
• Document all lab activities meticulously, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while following regulatory protocols and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science certification (CLS) to be obtained within one year of your start date.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
