The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while delivering therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews to assess clients' needs and gather relevant information for treatment planning.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through evidence-based assessments and clinical tools.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the unique goals of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to foster a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to respond to changing needs and challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide education and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them assist clients with mental health challenges.

• Manage case referrals to promote seamless transitions and enhance the client's journey through the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and mental health needs. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health disorders, as well as families navigating complex emotional dynamics. A holistic and culturally sensitive approach is essential in addressing their unique challenges and objectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program is required.

• Must possess and maintain current and valid licensure such as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• Demonstrated experience as a practicing mental health counselor is essential for this role.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to document care and manage client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients addressing both mental health and substance abuse disorders is preferred, as is familiarity with integrated care approaches.

• Knowledge of the best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is advantageous.

• A strong understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and collaboration with prescribing professionals is beneficial.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective documentation and client interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
