New Business Development Representative Location: Charleston, SC Airgas is hiring a New Business Development Representative to drive growth by identifying new opportunities and building lasting partnerships across industrial, medical, and business sectors. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and generate new leads. Present products to clients and tailor sales presentations to meet their specific needs. Build rapport, foster understanding, and address customer inquiries effectively. Plan and organize work schedules to prospect, qualify, and welcome new partners. Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions that meet customer requirements. Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to contribute to market excellence. Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records and submit required reports. Protect the confidentiality of sensitive information. Identify and align key customer stakeholders at all levels within targeted accounts to advance sustainable growth. Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal departments regarding new customer developments and opportunities. Utilize available resources to realize growth opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency with common email, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance. Excellent skills in building alignment and navigating agreements to meet customer needs. High‑level presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to foster understanding and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility to work varied hours to support customers’ success. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience contributing to growth in industrial, commercial, or educational markets.
