Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly evidence-based therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms to adults experiencing a range of emotional difficulties, utilizing techniques grounded in modern psychological practices.
• Conduct detailed mental health screenings and assessments to identify individualized treatment requirements, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach for each patient.
• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments and evaluate goal progress metrics to adjust treatment plans strategically, optimizing patient outcomes through data-driven insights.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through our advanced therapist portal, keeping track of patient interactions, treatment plans, and session notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in collaborative case reviews with colleagues to ensure best practices are upheld, providing a support network that values teamwork and shared expertise.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed that contribute to the overall functioning and success of our telehealth program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes working with adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional disorders. As part of your responsibilities, you will support clients from diverse backgrounds, including families and individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders, requiring an adaptable and sensitive approach. You will play an instrumental role in building relationships with clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with a valid and active license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) in the state of California.
• Knowledge of individual and family counseling techniques, combined with familiarity with various therapeutic modalities relevant to mental health care.
• Proficiency in using teletherapy tools and platforms, ensuring a seamless patient experience and compliance with privacy regulations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years working directly with individuals facing mental and behavioral health challenges, including experience with individual and group therapy as well as treatment for substance use disorders.
• Experience working with children, families, and couples will be considered an asset, as we emphasize holistic approaches to mental health.
• Familiarity with current principles, theories, and trends within the mental health field, ensuring best practices are upheld in all treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
