Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. The position involves engaging with clients through teletherapy, ensuring that they receive uninterrupted care during their detox process. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate individual patient needs. Our team collaborates closely to promote a cohesive and dynamic therapeutic approach.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs and conditions of patients, subsequently crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to support patient progress.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions aimed at addressing common mental health issues, providing patients with both knowledge and community support.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention as required, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatments, and local community resources that can aid their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards to ensure patient privacy and compliance.

• Contribute actively to case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to foster a culture of collaborative learning.

• Stay informed on current research and developments in the mental health field to continually improve service delivery and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of patients in a detox setting. This includes individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, as well as those experiencing various mental health disorders. A strong emphasis will be on creating a welcoming and understanding environment where clients feel safe to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic treatments.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.
\n
• Demonstrated capability in providing individual and group therapy sessions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with clients and team members.

• Sound decision-making ability and adherence to professional ethical standards.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
