Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s history and determine the most effective course of treatment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to offer coordinated care that addresses the complete needs of each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and emergency support for clients facing acute trauma-related challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, resilience-building techniques, and the resources available to support their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-related disorders and treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
