Work Environment\n

As a fully remote role, this position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of a collaborative and supportive team. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will be provided with the tools and technology necessary to deliver outstanding care while maintaining effective communication with your colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments that focus on understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of your patients.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment conducive to healing and resilience.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive coordination of care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support, helping patients navigate mental health emergencies effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Engage actively in departmental meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance team performance and patient outcomes.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in the mental health field, integrating new knowledge and techniques into clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is required.

• Proven expertise in understanding mental health disorders and implementing evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience delivering therapy in a culturally responsive manner, demonstrating sensitivity and inclusivity.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport building with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office technology.

• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the maintenance of appropriate professional boundaries.
