California Energy Commission is hiring a Contracts Manager in the Financial Management Branch of the Administrative & Financial Management Services Division. The state classification for this exciting leadership opportunity is Supervisor I . Our Contracts Manager will be the supervisor for the Contracts Unit to oversee the professional staff who administer contract agreements. The Contracts Manager will also act as the subject matter expert for questions and issues related to non-IT services contracts, and act as an in-house consultant to determine the applicability of funding sources. Desirable Qualifications Negotiate high-value, high-risk contracts in alignment with legal, financial, and policy requirements. Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure agreements are aligned with commission-wide policies and procedures. Facilitate the full lifecycle of contracting initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate execution of agreements.
