Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and comprehensive skin examinations to identify dermatological conditions.
• Diagnose and create treatment plans for a variety of skin issues, ranging from acne to more complex dermatological diseases.
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and dermal fillers, tailoring each procedure to meet the individual desires and needs of the patients.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings, providing essential education on prevention and offering follow-up care for post-operative patients.
• Develop personalized skincare regimens, educating patients on the best practices for maintaining skin health.
• Engage in team meetings to review patient cases, share insights, and stay updated on the latest dermatological advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population at the school facility, ranging from young children to adults seeking both medical care and aesthetic improvements. Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution, with a strong focus on dermatology or family nursing.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Current license to practice nursing in New York State.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a dermatology setting, demonstrating hands-on expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Proficient in performing cosmetic procedures, specifically Botox and dermal fillers, with a track record of patient satisfaction and safety.
• Experience working in a school or educational system is advantageous but not compulsory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
