Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of experience required License: Ohio RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Comfortable with CPAP/BiPAP, medication titrations, and charge-capable on nights Float required within the organization as needed Description: Seeking an experienced PCU RN for a 31-bed mixed acuity unit. This unit primarily supports medicine services and cares for a variety of stepdown and med/surg patients. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Familiarity with CPAP/BiPAP management and medication titration is essential. Travelers must be open to floating within the organization. Experience with EPIC documentation is desirable. The unit includes interdisciplinary support teams and has a diverse patient population. The daily census is around 25 patients, with a focus on teaching services for medicine. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative during the credentialing process. A valid compact or state license must be held at the time of submission. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
