Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this full-time remote role, you will empower clients in Waterbury, Connecticut, to regain and sustain independence in their daily lives. You will be mentored by our experienced Assistant Director, ensuring that your contributions make a real difference in client care and rehabilitation.

Work Environment\n

This remote position is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, enabling you to contribute effectively without the burden of evening or weekend work. The outpatient setting of Millennia Counseling allows you to interact both digitally and in-person with clients undergoing rehabilitation, receiving support from and interacting with a diverse team of professionals, and providing skilled counseling in comforting environments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial meetings with clients to discuss personal goals, preferences, and available treatment options, establishing a strong foundation for individualized rehabilitation plans.
\n
• Create, implement, and periodically modify rehabilitation plans based on the unique circumstances of each client, including their education level, capabilities, and future employment aspirations.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to design and execute comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to each client’s specific challenges and needs.
\n
• Maintain meticulous case files and documentation, including personal client information, eligibility, service details, and narratives detailing client interactions, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
\n
• Monitor client progress rigorously to assess goal achievement or to identify necessary modifications, thereby enhancing the likelihood of success and client satisfaction.
\n
• Facilitate ongoing communication with clients engaged in job training, occupational placements, and other programs, troubleshooting any arising issues effectively.
\n
• Engage with clients’ families and support systems to ensure a holistic approach to meeting the identified needs of each client.
\n
• Timely documentation and analysis of client needs and progress reporting to inform treatment adjustments and referrals to additional resources when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with diverse clients who are navigating challenges related to mental health disorders. This includes fostering resilience in individuals experiencing mood disorders or other mental health conditions, with a goal of supporting them through their rehabilitation journey towards optimal mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: Hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
\n
• Licensure: Must possess an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
\n
• Mental Health Experience: Proven experience providing mental health treatment in either residential or outpatient settings, particularly with clients facing mood disorders.
\n
• Collaborative Skills: Must demonstrate a team-oriented approach and a passion for the mission of fostering positive change within the community.
\n
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and accurate documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000, competitive and reflective of your skills and experience.
