They ensure effective store operations, strategies, and procedures, guide and develop team members, create memorable customer experiences, and help drive the company’s mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions.” As the Store Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, develop strategies to improve customer service, drive sales, increase profitability, and execute marketing and promotional directives that grow our customer base. You will maintain high store standards, foster a positive environment, forecast staffing needs, and develop a recruiting strategy. How You’ll Make a Difference Lead the store team to develop, evaluate, and coach staff to maintain a high level of service and quality that meets customer experience expectations. Inspire, educate, guide, and develop associates and keyholders to meet short and long‑range growth plans and career paths within the store, field, and general office. Deliver operating budgets and manage expense control within division guidelines to deliver positive results and meet profitability expectations. Ensure accuracy of all functions related to store operations, including front and back house operations. Complete record‑keeping for applicants, new hires, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations in a timely manner. Maintain appropriate inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication. Communicate regularly with the Area/District Manager, providing market information and employee successes and challenges. You Have A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of functional experience, including managing individual contributors and a department or having acted as a lead. Strong problem‑solving skills: ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems and drive decisions that impact finances, efficiency, and effectiveness. Proficiency operating a Point of Sales (POS) system and various software packages. Job Conditions Frequently in a more active environment that requires constant movement, possibly lifting items weighing up to 40lbs. May require specialized equipment, exposure to dust and noise, and occasional work on the spot. Occasional travel (~5%) for meetings and business needs. Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally or in response to location‑specific business trends or forecasts.
