Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions, determining the severity and nuances of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to establish tailored and realistic treatment plans that acknowledge their individual aspirations, specific challenges, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and maintain fidelity to these treatment protocols to achieve optimal client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Consistently monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure responsiveness to their evolving needs.

You will predominantly work with adults experiencing mood disorders who seek support in a remote setting. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.
