Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary This role is heavily focused on data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of data, and ensuring information is entered accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities + Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices into the accounting system. + Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before data entry. + Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation. + Maintain organized electronic and physical records. + Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries. + Update vendor information and maintain accurate account records. + Support the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks and reporting. + Work within multiple software systems to ensure timely and accurate processing. Essential Skills + Experience in Data Entry + Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Good communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. + 1-3 years of data entry (accounts payable experience NOT required) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
