This opportunity allows for a remote work setting while engaging with patients in a detox center. Our operation runs from Monday through Saturday, granting team members the autonomy to create and manage their schedules flexibly. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Empower Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, evaluating their mental health needs and creating individualized care plans.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), adapting these strategies to meet client needs and monitor progress toward treatment goals.

• Engaging in regular interdisciplinary communication with colleagues to discuss assessments, treatment interventions, and optimizing care through patient rounds and documentation.

• Providing case management for assigned patients, collaborating with various hospital and community professionals to ensure holistic support.

• Demonstrating ethical and timely documentation practices to meet departmental standards and improve organizational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients within a detox center environment, addressing their unique mental health concerns as they navigate the challenges of substance use recovery. You will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to adults, all needing compassionate support tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health, preferably in outpatient or residential treatment settings.

• A commitment to ethical practice and the ability to demonstrate cultural competence when working with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000 per year, based on your experience and credentials. Additionally, we offer:
