Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of clients to assess mental, emotional, and behavioral health, ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout their journey.

• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans for various client demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and support groups.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of established techniques and methodologies.

• Monitor and document client progress against treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to develop integrated intervention strategies and case management solutions.

• Follow up with healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and effective discharge planning.

• Proactively identify barriers to recovery and work with clients and their families to develop strategies that promote healing and personal growth.

• Educate and support families and caregivers on managing mental health challenges, fostering a supportive environment for the client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a broad range of clients, from adolescents to adults, each facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. The diverse nature of our clientele will provide you with the chance to utilize your skills and grow your experience across various therapeutic modalities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A strong foundation of experience in clinical mental health counseling.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to maintain accurate and confidential client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience treating clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Adept understanding of pharmacological interventions and their implications for client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
