Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor at Right Path Counseling, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide youth-focused mental health care. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and trusting relationships while strictly adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, address stability, and discuss upcoming appointments, ensuring timely discharges when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Keeping thorough documentation that captures each client's progress and developing insightful notes following each session.

• Conducting initial assessments that identify mental health needs and potential treatment paths for new clients.
\n
• Engaging in meaningful individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing various therapeutic modalities appropriate for client needs.

• Participating in regular supervision sessions to enhance professional competency and adherence to best practices.

• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers within our network to ensure comprehensive client care and continuity.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in assessment, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy.

• Experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations for at least one year is preferred.
