This position is conducted entirely remotely through a telehealth platform, allowing therapists to connect with patients from the comfort of their own homes or offices. Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with patients through virtual interactions.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Engage in regular counseling sessions through videoconferencing, providing ongoing treatment and adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress.

• Monitor and document patient progress, conducting ongoing assessments to evaluate therapeutic outcomes.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and safe environment for sharing and healing.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support, assessing immediate needs and establishing a plan for urgent care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when referral to specialists is necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting with demonstrated clinical competence.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a preference for those holding a Master’s degree.

• Proven strong therapeutic skills and the ability to motivate clients to achieve their mental health goals.

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with telehealth software, electronic medical records, and standard office applications.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced digital environment while managing changing priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of outpatient experience is required, candidates with additional expertise in specific therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be especially favored. Experience in providing care through telehealth platforms is also a plus, as it enhances patient engagement and access to services.
