Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergent assessments to clients in distress, facilitating immediate support and referrals when necessary.

• Deliver evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals coping with behavioral health issues, substance use disorders, and severe mental illness.

• Complete detailed documentation and statistical reporting as per organizational requirements and state regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with correctional departments to ensure seamless access to care, effectively managing patient housing and treatment transitions.
\n
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions focused on therapeutic strategies tailored to inmates under observation.
\n
• Engage in regular clinical supervision sessions with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance professional development and address clinical challenges.
\n
• Participate in mental health rounds, case conferences, and treatment planning meetings, ensuring coordinated care strategies for all patients.
\n
• Potentially conduct psychological testing and assessments, contributing to comprehensive patient profiles.
\n
• Oversee and guide social work interns or student volunteers as assigned, enhancing their learning experience in a professional setting.

• Adhere to additional responsibilities as directed by the Unit Chief or Clinical Supervisor, ensuring patient care standards are consistently met.

This position primarily focuses on serving incarcerated individuals who present a range of mental health issues and require specialized support. Your therapeutic skills will assist clients dealing with severe mental disorders, addiction challenges, and behavioral problems, making a profound difference in their rehabilitation process. Qualifications\n

• A valid Washington state license as either an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience providing direct client care within behavioral health settings, with at least two years post-licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
