Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in the comfort of their homes. Our facility provides state-of-the-art equipment and resources, including the CureMD Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, to streamline documentation and enhance treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of adult patients, typically aged 40 to 65, treating up to three patients per hour while ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and tailor personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment methods, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to create a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans within the CureMD EMR system, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients with varying orthopedic conditions, such as post-operative recovery, pain management, and injury rehabilitation. Each session will be designed to not only address immediate physical concerns but also educate patients about their conditions and empower them to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to practice in the state.
• Evidence of strong clinical reasoning and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Experience working with a similar patient demographic is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in the use of EMR systems, preferably CureMD.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
