We believe that delivering on an outstanding patient experience starts with building an outstanding employee experience.Our mission is to improve people’s lives through better vision and outstanding patient experiences.Patient Service Representatives work closely with the front office staff and doctors to provide excellent and expedient ‘hospitality quality’ care service to all EVP Eyecare patients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Answers inbound phone calls for multiple practicesSchedules appointments, answer patient questions and requests in a timely and efficient mannerResponds to online appointment and information requests throughout the day – EVP Eyecare maintains an expected response time of 5 minutes during business hours on all appointment and online information requestsConfirms appointments for several office locations dailyVerifies patient information and clinical location on all callsMaintains a working knowledge of all EVP services and practicesMaintains a pleasant and helpful attitude (hospitality)Provides knowledgeable and caring service to all current and potential EVP patients and employeesMaintains a clean and orderly workspace and clinicServes as a model to other team members.Maintains a solid track record of punctual and reliable attendanceAssists in training new EVP team membersOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 0-2 years’ experience with patient facing interaction preferredCall center experience highly desirableExperience working with practice management software preferredBasic Knowledge of Health Care and ACA requirements and regulationsBasic computer skillsEffective written and verbal skillsExcellent customer service skillsProves to be a trustworthy and reliable team member while maintaining a positive attitude each dayBENEFITSBenefits include Medical, Dental, Vision Discounts, 401(k) with company match, Life Insurance, Short Term & Long-Term Disability options, Employee Assistance Program, generous time off plans and company paid holidays.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
