An Aloft Hotels Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, responsible for creating a high-energy, welcoming first impression. Key Responsibilities

• Guest Arrivals & Departures : Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently while explaining hotel features, local hotspots, and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty rewards.
• Tech Support : Assist guests with modern hotel technology, including digital keyless entry, mobile check-in apps, and high-speed Wi-Fi connections.
• Re:fuel Retail Management : Run the 24/7 grab-and-go food station by stocking inventory, making espresso drinks, and processing cash or room charges.
• Guest Service & Problem Solving : Answer phone calls, respond to digital chat requests, handle guest complaints instantly, and coordinate fixes with housekeeping or maintenance teams.
• W XYZ Bar Collaboration : Support the social lounge and bar areas when needed by greeting visitors, sharing event info, and keeping spaces clean and tidy.
• Cash Handling & Billing : Securely manage a cash drawer, post room charges correctly, and resolve credit card or billing discrepancies.

Typical Job Requirements

• Experience : Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred, but many properties train candidates with the right personality.
• Tech Savviness : Comfort using computer systems, mobile applications, and basic tech troubleshooting. Marriott systems experience (like Light Speed, Stay PMS or GXP) is a major plus.
• Communication Skills : Excellent spoken and written skills with a friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
• Schedule Flexibility : Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Stamina : Capability to stand for long periods of time behind the front desk and lift up to 30 pounds if helping with guest luggage.
