Bookkeeper / Office Administrator

Job Description Job Description The Sign Palace Inc. is a full-service signage and graphics company based in Elk Grove Village, IL. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support both our financial processes and day-to-day office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and being a key support person for a growing business. You'll handle invoicing and bookkeeping tasks while also helping keep the office running smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Create, send, and track customer estimates and invoices in QuickBooks * Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up as needed * Maintain organized customer records * Support daily office operations and administrative tasks * Answer phones and attend to customers coming through the front door * Manage incoming and outgoing communications * Maintain general office needs * Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams as needed * Participate in weekly shop cleaning * Perform final quality control checks to ensure completed projects are consistent with job specifications * Package and ship completed orders as necessary Skills & Qualifications * Experience using QuickBooks (required) * Previous experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar role * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time-management skills * Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Professional, dependable, and discreet * Prior experience in the signage, printing, or manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required What This Role Is Not * No payroll responsibilities * No accounts payable (vendor bill processing) * No recording of financial transactions in QuickBooks
