Associate Medical Director Rheumatology - US Medical Affairs

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Associate Medical Director for Rheumatology to support US Medical Affairs strategy development and execution. The role involves leading clinical programs, cross-functional collaboration, evidence generation, and oversight of Phase IIIb/IV trials and real-world studies for immunology and rheumatology assets.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and lead development of integrated evidence generation plans for approved and pipeline rheumatology products
- Serve as Study Responsible Physician or Scientist for Phase IIIb/IV trials, registries, and real-world evidence studies
- Partner cross-functionally with medical science liaisons, commercial teams, and R&D to execute therapeutic area strategy
- Lead or contribute to manuscript and abstract development for company-sponsored studies
- Address medical questions and knowledge gaps identified by healthcare providers and field insights
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) or PhD in relevant scientific discipline
- Expertise in rheumatology and immunological disorders
- Experience leading clinical development programs and trial design
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and medical strategy skills
- Track record of scientific manuscript and abstract development
- Regulatory and GCP compliance knowledge
